Make Your Plans for Another Incredible Breckenridge Summer

El Niño expected to emerge this fall: Here's how it will affect the weather
“A transition from La Niña to ENSO-neutral is expected in the next month, with ENSO-neutral favored through May-July 2026 (55% chance). In June-August 2026, El Niño is likely to emerge (62% chance) and persist through at least the end of 2026,” the Climate Prediction Center said.
The increasing expectation is that this El Niño will be strong, with some starting to dub it a super El Niño. El Niño can affect our weather significantly. The warmer waters cause the Pacific jet stream to move south of its neutral position.
This could mean a nice wet summer and pushing right into next winter.
