Fairplay, CO

Gateway to the Rocky Mountain Lifestyle

Fairplay-Gateway to Everything Rocky Mountain-a close knit community for living or vacationing.

Park County, the quieter side of Colorado. Just twenty minutes South of Breckenridge but with a rural feel you won't find in Summit County. While it's a little old fashioned here it's just a hop, skip and a mountain pass away from some of the world's best 21st century resorts.

Fairplay is an historic mining town surrounded by spectacular peaks. The air is clean and the pace is serene. The hiking, biking, fishing and relaxing are second to none. This is where many of the locals have escaped to while still being in striking distance for a day of powder or fine dining in Breckenridge. The town has a nice grocery store, a recreation center and good restaurants. Don't miss the burro races in July. A true old west event.

The South Platte River has excellent fishing out your front door. Four Fourteeners are out the back door and wildlife is everywhere. The historic town Fairplay is a mellower experience than the bustling ski resorts. Single family homes are a bargain and sit on one or more acre lots for privacy. Horse properties can be found in the area too.
